こちらの音とあちらの音

太陽系の外へと飛んで行くという触れ込みでボイジャーロケットが打ち上げられたのは、１９７７年。宇宙の知的生物とコミュニケートするためにさまざまなイメージやら音源も含まれていると新聞には記されてあった。たしかそのなかには、ジョン・コルトレーンの音楽も加わっているとあったはずで、ようやく耳にしたものの未だ馴染めていなかったコルトレーンを宇宙人がいかに聴くのかと興味を誘われた。

地球のイメージ、音に接して宇宙人はなにを思うのか。
宇宙人といっても、地球人が考える善悪のコンセプトなどまったく関わりなく生きている可能性が高い。
宇宙的叡智とはなにか、はあ、これなんかもいかにも地球的発想か。

あらためてボイジャーのニュースで沸く。
ネットの時代のおかげで、音源のリストまでわかる。
そうか、コルトレーンはなかったのか、チャック・ベリーはあるのに。

そんな地球での争いは、なんてことを小学生のころから考えている。。。
