の元となった読売の社説の日本語は，”(議員の鞍替え）参院の意義が問われている”となっている.

参院が現状のままなら「不要」。理想的には，米の上院，下院のような役割分担を。外交，安全保障，決算に特化。さらに，米の上院にならい，参議院は，人口に関係なく，各県から２人という具合に。ここは，英語のブログなのでここまでにする。

私であれば，よりspecificに，

とします。

なお，ワシントンポスト紙の社説のタイトルは，
