リオの試練の時

ジョン・ドウが帰宅すると、息子のリオがソファーでふくれています。ジョンは妻のメアリーに、どうしたのかを小声で尋ねます。

J: What's going on wth Leo?
M: He's stressed about his homework.
J: What homework?
M: It's his science fair project. He says it's a flop.
J: What is his project?
M: It has something to do with identifying bird species in the neighborhood. He's pretty discouraged.
J: I'll go talk to him.
M: Good. If anyone can cheer him up, you can.

J：リオはどうなっているの？
M：宿題のことでストレスを感じているのよ。
J：宿題って何の？
M：科学フェアの課題よ。失敗だと言っているわ。
J：彼の課題は何？
M：近所にいる鶏を識別するようなこと。かなり気落ちしているわ。
J：彼と話してみるよ。
M：そうね。元気づけてやれる人がいるとすれば、それはあなたよ。

リオは宿題のことでストレスを感じています。彼は近所にいる鳥を識別しなければなりません。ジョンは彼を元気づけることにします。
Leo is stressed about his homework. He has to do with identifying bird species in the neighborhood. John cheers him up.
