日本好きの男の子がカブトムシをケージに飼っています。高校生のベビーシッターが質問を始めます。飼っているのはカブトムシだけではないようですが・・・。

BS: What have you go there?
B: It's my pet beetle, Samurai.
BS: Nice name.
B: Thanks. He's in a plastic cage with air vents.
BS: I see. What do you feed it?
B: Little pieces of fruit.
BS: I ca see you're an old hand at this.
B: Uh-huh. I collect earthworms, too. Wanna see them?
BS: Maybe next time.

BS：そこにあるのは何？
B：僕のペットのカブトムシでサムライだよ。
BS：いい名前ね。
B：どうも。空気穴のついたプラスチックのケージに入ってるんだ。
BS：そうなんだ。餌は何をやるの？
B：果物を小さく切ったもの。
BS：これにつしてはベテランのようね。
B：うん。ミミズも集めているよ。見たい？
BS：・・・また今度ね。

男の子はペットのカブトムシをベビーシッターに見せます。彼女は、彼がそうしたことについてはベテランであることがわかります。ただ、ミミズのコレクションを見るのは、今回はパスします。
