２匹の空腹な猫

ベジタリアンパーティーに「参加」した猫のジンジャーとフレッドが、前菜を頂戴しているところです。

G: Fred, whatever you do, don't eat artichoke leaves.
F: (choking) Aww, what is this?
G: You just ate an artichoke leaf.
F: Oooh.
G: How does it taste?
F: Well, I'm not crazy about it. I think I need some fresh air.
G: Do you want to grab some grilled sardines at the bar across the street?
F: Yes! I'm craving sardines!

Ｇ：フレッド、何をしようとも、アーティチョークの葉は食べないでね。
Ｆ：（喉がつまって）うわぁ、なんだ、これは？
Ｇ：アーティーチョークの葉を食べたのよ。
Ｆ：おぉぉ。
Ｇ：どんな味？
Ｆ：そうだね、好みとまではいかないかも・・・だな。ちょっと外の空気を吸わないと。
Ｇ：軽く網焼きイワシを食べない？向かいのバーで。
Ｆ：いいね！イワシがどうしても食べたいな！

フレッドはパーティでアーティーチョークの葉を食べますが、彼の好みとまではいきません。彼とジンジャーは、軽く網焼きイワシを食べに、バーへいくことにします。
Fred eats artichoke leaves at the party, he isn't crazy about it. He and Ginger, go to the bar to grab some grilled sardines.
