ジャックは、自分で復元したクラシックカーを、運転免許を取ったばかりの姪のサチに見せています。

S: Did you restore this car, Uncle Jack?
J: Yep. I'd drive it back and forth to school. Hop in, Sachi!
S: Wow, it's really cool---and roomy too!
J: I'll back it out of the garage. Then you can take the wheel.
S: Really? Where are we going?
J: Just drive up and down the street.
S: Cool!

Ｓ：ジャック伯父さん、この車、復元したの？
Ｊ：ああ。昔、学校の往復によく運転していたんだ。乗ってごらん、サチ！
Ｓ：うわ、とってもクール、それに広いわ！
Ｊ：ガレージからバックで出すよ。そうしたらハンドルを握っていいよ。
Ｓ：ほんとう？どこへ行くの？
Ｊ：ただ通りを行ったり来たりするだけさ。
Ｓ：クール！

ジャック伯父さんは車を復元しました。彼は学校の往復によくそれを運転していました。これから彼の姪のサチがそれを運転して通りを行ったり来たりします。
Uncle Jack restored his car. He would drive it back and forth to school. Then his niece, Sachi, drives up and down the street.
