Making French Toast
フレンチトーストを作る
朝、フレンチトーストを作る準備ができた父親に、幼い娘と息子が自分たちにやらせてほしいと頼みます。
D: Dad, can we make French toast?
F: On one condition: you clean up after yourselves.
D&S: It's a deal.
F: Okay. First, mix together two eggs and half a cup of milk.
S: I'll crack the eggs.
D: Timmy made a big mess!
F: Wipe it up with a dishcloth. Now add a pinch of cinnamon!
D: Timmy spilled a lot of cinnamon!
F: I'll take over now.
Ｄ：パパ、二人でフレンチトーストを作ってもいい？
Ｆ：条件がひとつ。あと片付けをすること。
Ｄ＆Ｓ：決まった！
Ｆ：よし。まず、卵ふたつと半カップのミルクを 混ぜ合わせて。
Ｓ：ぼくが卵を割る。
Ｄ：ティミーがぐちゃぐちゃのしちゃったわ！
Ｆ：ふきんで拭き取って。それから、シナモンをひとつまみ加えて。
Ｄ：ティミーがシナモンをたくさんこぼした！
Ｆ：ここからはパパが引き受けるよ。
ある男性が自分の子供たちにフレンチトーストを作らせてありますが、彼らがぐちゃぐちゃにしてしまい、彼が引き受けなければなりません。
