ジェイクが引っ越したアパートに、友人のクリスティが引越祝いを持って訪れました。

K: I brought you a spider plant, Jake.
J: Oh, that's really nice of you, Kristi! Thanks.
K: It's fairly easy to take care of it.
J: Cool! Where should I put it?
K: Spider plants love light. How about on top of your bookshelf?
J: Okay. How often should I water it?
K: Maybe once a week. Don't let the soil get soggy.
J: All right.

Ｋ：アナタにオリヅルランを持ってきたわ、ジェイク。
Ｊ：おお、そんなに気を遣ってくれて、クリスティ！ありがとう。
Ｋ：これは世話がかなり簡単なの。
Ｊ：いいね！どこに置いたらいいかな？
Ｋ：オリヅルランは日光をとても好むの。本棚の上はどうかしら？
Ｊ：オーケー。水やりはどのくらいの頻度でしたらいいの？
Ｋ：週に１度くらいかな。土をグショグショにしないように。
Ｊ：了解。

この観葉植物の手入れは難しくありません。半日陰が好きなんです。土を乾かさないようにしてください。
