翌日、ジョンとリオはホームセンターへ行き、鳥の餌台の材料と鳥の餌が入った大きな袋をいくつも買って戻ってきました。それをメアリーはビックリして見ていましたが・・・。

M: Do you really need all those sacks of birdseed?
L: Yes, because we're making three big bird feeders!
M: Three? Why so many?
L: My science teacher, Mr. Courtney, said the more bird species I record the better.
J: He'll be more than satisfied with the results.
M: I have some misgivings about feeding so many birds...
J: Don't worry. We have things under control.

M：本当に鳥の餌の袋がそれ全部必要なの？
L：うん。だって、大きな野鳥の餌台を３つ作るんだよ！
M：３つ？なぜそんなにたくさん？
L：科学のコートニー先生が、たくさんの種類の鳥を記録した方がいいって言ったんだ。
J：先生は結果に満足するはずだよ。
M：そんな多くの鳥に餌をやるのはちょっと不安だわ・・・。
J：心配しないで。すべてしっかりやっているから。

彼らは野鳥用の大きな餌台を３つ作ります。彼らはすべてしっかりやっています。科学の先生はその結果に大満足するはずです。
They're making three big bird feeders. They have things under control. The Science teacher will be more then satisfied with the results.
