ある男性が、寝室がふたつある家のハウスメートを募集しています。今日はティファニーという応募者がやってきました。

M: I'll give you the grand tour, Tiffany. This is the kitchen.
T: It's spotless!
M: I always clean up after every meal. It's a force of habit. Here's the living room.
T: It's so nice and neat! What household chores would I be responsible for?
M: Vacuuming and dusting every day is a requirement.
T: That's going to be hard to fit into my schedule.
M: I see...

Ｍ：ティファニー、家の中をお見せします。これがキッチンです。
Ｔ：チリひとつないですね！
Ｍ：いつも食事のすぐあとに掃除するんですよ。いつものクセになっているんです。ここが居間です。
Ｔ：本当にとてもきちんとしていますね！私はどんな家事を担当することになりますか？
Ｍ：毎日の掃除機かけとから拭きが必須です。
Ｔ：それ、私のスケジュールに組み込めそうにありません。
Ｍ：そうですか・・・。

男性は、ハウスメート候補に家の中を見せます。しかし彼女は、（言われたその）家事を自分の予定に組み込めそうにありません。
