４人はチリの後、デザートを食べています。グレンとサンドラの間の緊張は高まるばかり。ジョンとメアリーは気が気ではありません。

J: How's work, Glenn?
G: Great!
S: Glenn is always late, which infuriates his boss.
G: THat's not my fault!
S: Now look what you've done! You broke Mary's coffee cup!
G: I'm sorry!
M: No big deal. It was an old coffee cup anyway.
S: Well, we best be going.
M: So soon?
S: I wish we could stay, but I've got this splitting headache.
G: Thanks, guy. Love the chili!

J：仕事はどう、グレン？
G：順調だよ！
S：グレンはいつも遅刻、それでボスはカンカンなの。
G：それは僕のせいじゃない！
S：ああ、なんてことをしたの、あなた！メアリーのコーヒーカップを割ってしまって！
G：申し訳ない！
M：気にしないで。どうせ古いコーヒーカップだったので。
S：あのう、私たち、帰らなくっちゃ。
M：もう？
S：もといられるといいのだけれど、頭がね、ガンガンするのよ。
G：ありがとうね。チリ、美味しかった！

サンドラが、グレンはいつも遅刻をするので、彼のボスはカンカンだと言います。グレンは怒り、誤ってメアリーのコーヒーカップを割ってしまいます。それから二人は、サンドラが激しい頭痛がするという理由で帰ります。
