早期退職の見通し

現役の伝書鳩が、すでにリタイアしているハトに、早期退職について相談をしはじめます。

H: It's time for me to make some changes.
R: Do you want to fly a different route?
H: It's not that.
R: What's the problem?
H: I feel like something is missing.
R: You're getting tired of the same old thing.
H: I don't know. I can't get a handle on it. Maybe I should retire.
R: Retire? that's a whole new ball game.

H：少し新しいことをするべき時期だと思うんです。
R：別のルートを飛びたいのかい？
H：そういうことではないんです。
R：何が問題なんだい？
H：何かが欠けている気がするんです。
R：いつも決まったことをするのに飽きてきているんだね。
H：わからないんです。てこずっているんですよ。退職すべきかも。
R：退職？それはまるで別の話になるよ。

彼女は少し新しいことをするべき時期だと思っています。何かが欠けている気がしています。でも、彼女はそのことにうまく対処できないでいます。
She thinks it's time for her to make some changes. She feel like something is missing. But, She can't get a handle on it.
