ハーヴィーの初めてのサーフィン・レッスン

ハーヴィーは、ワイキキビーチでサーフィンを教えているケネオに会って練習を始めます。シャーリーは写真を撮るために待機しています。

K: Let's practice on land first. Paddle like this, one stroke at a time.
H: How am I doing?
K: You got it down! Ready to catch your first wave?
H: Yup.
K: Here comes a wave! Paddle like mad! Good! Pop up to a standing position! Oooh!
H: (Big wave breaks.) I got water up my nose.
K: What a wipeout, brah! Want to give it another shot?
H: You bet.

K：まずは陸上で練習しましょう。こんな感じで漕いで、一度にワンストロークで・・・。
H：どうです？
K：覚えましたね！初めての波に乗ってみますか？
H：ええ。
K：波が来ましたよ。漕ぎまくって！うまい！パッと起きて立つ！ああああ！
H：（大波が砕ける）鼻に水が入っちゃった！
K：すごいワイプアウト（転倒）だったよ兄弟！もう一度やってみますか？
H：当然。

ハーヴィーはまず陸上で練習しました。それから初めての波に乗ろうとしました。彼はワイプアウトしましたが、もう一度やるつもりです。
