ランプルスティルトゥスキン、救出に参上

粉屋の主人が娘の自慢をしすぎた結果、王様が彼女を幽閉して無理難題を押しつけるが、養成のランプルスティルトゥスキンが現れ、代償を求めながら彼女を助けていく・・・というおなじみのお話です。

D: Boo-hoo! (The door opens and shuts.)
R: May I ask what's wrong?
D: I'm in quite the predicament. The king has ordered me to spin this straw into gold by tomorrow morning.
R: I could easily do that.
D: How?
R: It's a question of mind over matter. But you must give me something in return for my work.
D: I'll give you my necklace.
R: It's a deal!

Ｄ：ウェーンウェーン！（ドアが開き、そして閉まる）
Ｒ：何がいかんのか伺ってもよいかな？
Ｄ：私、大変な苦境にあるのです。王様が私に明日朝までにこの藁を紡いで金にせよ、と命じられたのです。
Ｒ：わしなら簡単にできるがのう。
Ｄ：どうやって？
Ｒ：それは精神力の問題じゃ。しかしお前はそれと引き替えにわしに何かをくれなくてはならん。
Ｄ：私のネックレスを差し上げましょう。
Ｒ：それで手を打とう！

その少女は一晩でその藁を金に紡がなければなりませんでした。その男は「そんなことわしなら簡単にできるがのう」と言いました。彼女は彼の仕事と引き替えに彼女のネックレスをあげることを約束しました。
This girl must spin this straw into gold overnight. This man said "I could easily do that". She promised give him her necklace instead of his job.
