Coit Tower

テレグラフ・ヒルの頂上に着いた二人は、そこにあるコイト・タワーに向かいます。

I: Shall we move on to Coit Tower?
L: Yes, let's. Why is it called Coit Tower?
I: It was constructed as a memorial to Lillian Coit who left a third of her fortune to the city.
L: These historical murals are marvelous.
I: This way. We need to buy tickets in the gift shop.
L: Tickets?
I: Tickets for the elevator ride to the top.
L: Oh, okay.

I:コイト・タワーへ進みましょうか？
L:ええ、そうしましょう。なぜコイト・タワーと呼ばれるの？
I:財産の３分の１を町のために残したリリアン・コイトを記念して建てられたからだよ。
L:こうした歴史上の出来事を描いた壁画はすばらしいわね。
I:こっちだよ。ギフトショップでチケットを買う必要があるんだ。
L:チケット？
I:最上階まで行くエレベーターに乗るためのチケットさ。
L:あ、そうなのね。



私たちはスミス・タワーへ進みました。それは彼女の財産の全てを町のために残したハナコ・スミスを記念して９０年前に建てられました。
We move on to Smith tower. It was constructed as a memorial to Hanako Smith who left all of her fortune to the city 90 years ago.



松島に福浦島という島があります。そこには橋が架かっているのですが、その橋を渡るためにはお金が必要になります。橋の入り口にはレストランがあり、その中でお金を払ってから橋を渡って福浦島に行くわけです。イアンとイブの会話はこんな感じになります。
I: This way. We need to buy tickets in the restaurant.
L: Tickets?
I: Tickets for crossing the bridge to the FukuuraJima Island.
L: Oh,okay.
