統計学の講座で遅れをとっている大学生が、個人教師を頼みにキャンパスのラーニングセンターへ行きます。マネージャーが応対します。
S: Hi, I'd like to sign up for a tutor, please.
M: All right. What class do you need a tutor for?
S: Statistics.
M: A lot of kids are having trouble with statistics.
S: It's very hard.
M: It really is! Thankfully, we have great tutors here.
S: Good.
M: Don't worry. You'll get the hang of it.
S：すみませんが、個人教師の申し込みをしたいのですが。
M：わかりました。どのクラスの個人教師が必要ですか？
S：統計学です。
M：統計学で苦しんでいる学生はたくさんいますよ。
S：とても難しいです。
M：本当にそうですよね！ありがたいことに、ここには優秀な個人教師がいます。
S：よかった。
M：心配しないで。うまくコツがつかめますよ。
