ホテルにチェックインした後、ハーヴィーはコンシェルジュのデスクで、オアフ島の見所を尋ねます。

H: Hi. I'd like to take a drive around the island. I was wondering if you could give me some tips on where to go.
C: Certainly. Do you have anywhere in particular in mind?
H: I was thinking about the North Shore, the surfers' paradise.
C: That's about an hour's drive, depending on traffic.
H: Thanks! Could you tell me where I can get surfing lessons around here?
C: I can help you with that. Would you like to start tomorrow?
H: Perfect.

H：どうも。この島をドライブしたいのですが。行くべき所などを教えていただけないかな、と思いまして。
C：かしこまりました。特にどちらかお考えの場所は？
H：サーファーの楽園と呼ばれるノースショアを考えていたのですが・・・。
C：そこは車で約１時間です・・・交通事情によりますが。
H：ありがとうございます。このあたりでサーフィンのレッスンを受けられるところはありますかね？
C：それなら手配できます。明日スタートなさいますか？
H：是非それで。
