キャンピングカーで国内旅行をしたいと思っているハーヴィーは、よりよいプランを提示してシャーリーの説得にあたります。

H: Shirley, I've got an even better plan.
S: (With disbelieving intonation) Okay...?
H: We could free up some cash by selling the house and downsizing.
S: What are you driving at? That we live in an RV for the rest of our lives?
H: Let me finish. We'll buy a small condo, and I'll let you decide where we live.
S: (Pause.) I can live with that.
H: Yes!

Ｈ：シャーリー、さらによいプランがあるんだけどね。
Ｓ：（信じられないという抑揚で）そうなの・・・？
Ｈ：家を売って身の回りを整理すれば自由に使える現金ができる。
Ｓ：あなた、一体何が言いたいの？残りの人生をＲＶで過ごすとか？
Ｈ：最後まで聞いてくれ。小さなマンションを買うんだけど、どこに住むかは君の決定にまかせるよ。
Ｓ：（間）それならいいわ。
Ｈ：やった！

自由に使える現金を作れば、私たちは小さなマンションにすむことができます。住むところは妻の決定にまかせます。彼女もそれなら納得すると思います。
We could buy a small condo by free up some cash. I'll let my wife where we live. I think she can live with that.
