Heading Back Down to Their Car

コイト・タワーの最上階までエレベーターで行き、見物を終えたイアンとリヴは、階段を使って丘を下り、駐車場へ戻っていくところです。

I: So what did you think of Coit Tower?
L: I didn't care for old elevator. But the panoramic view at the top was spectacular!
I: Great.
L: And I loved the trinkets in the gift shop.
I: Let's make our way to Haight-Ashbury.
L: Sounds good. ...Ian?
I: Yes?
L: I need to buy comfortable shoes at some point. My feet are killing me!
I: Got it.

I:で、どうだった、コイト・タワーは？
L:私はあの古いエレベーターが苦手だったわ。でも最上階で眺めたパノラマは壮観だった！
I:よかった。
L:それとギフトショップの小さなアクセサリーがとても気に入ったわ。
I:ヘイト・アシュベリー（１９６０年代に興ったヒッピー文化の発祥地）に向かおうよ。
L:いいわね。・・・ねえ、イアン？
I:なんだい？
L:どこかで履き心地のよい靴を買う必要があるの。足が痛くってしかたがないの！
I:了解。



城の古いエレベーターは苦手でした。でも歴史上の出来事を描いた壁画は壮観でした。それとギフトショップの小さなカレンダーがとても気に入りました。
I didn't care for old elevator of the castle. But the historical murals were spectacular. And I loved the small calendar in the gift shop.



今回のダイアログが山形の山寺で展開された場合、こうなるかもしれません。
