マディは、ルークの元カノのクレアに料理を運んだあと、クレアの話の続きをルークに伝えます。

L: Is Claire still there?
M: Yes. She told me you broke up with her in a text message.
L: I know that was pretty low.
M: She's actually very likable and super smart.
L: She's also very persistent.
M: Ture! She told me she's not budging until you meet her.
L: Tell her that I'll meet her behind the cafe in ten minutes.

Ｌ：クレアはまだいるのかい？
Ｍ：ええ。あなたは彼女とショートメッセージを使って別れたと言っていたけど。
Ｌ：あれは相当みっともなかったと反省している。
Ｍ：彼女、実際は非常に好感が持てて、飛び切り頭がいいわよ。
Ｌ：それと非常に粘り強くもある。
Ｍ：そう！あなたが合う気になるまで引き下がらないって。
Ｌ：１０分後にカフェの裏で会うと伝えてくれないか。

クレアはまだカフェにいます。マディは好意からクレアの給仕をし、ルークのところに戻ってきて、クレアの言ったことを彼に伝えます。
Claire is still in the cafe. Maddy waits on Claire as a favor, and she comes back to Luke, she tells him that what Clair said.
