リタイアした者からの助言

伝書鳩はリタイアした鳩に、引退後の生活sの長所・短所について尋ねることにします。

H: Is there a downside to retiring?
R: Some feel they have too much time on their hands. In my case, I feel as free as a bird!
H: What do you do all day?
R: I belong to the Song Club. Would you like to become a member? It starts at the crack of dawn.
H: I'm not an early bird.
R: Think about it.
H: I'll keep that in mind. Thanks.

H：リタイアすることのマイナス面はありますか？
R：ありすぎる時間を持て余すと感じる人たちもいる。私の場合は、自由このうえないと感じている。
H：一日中何をしているんですか？
R：「歌の会」に入っている。メンバーになりたいかい？夜明けに始まるんだ。
H：私は早起きではないんです。
R：考えておいてよ。
H：覚えておきます。どうも。

そのリタイアした人は、引退することにはマイナス面があると言います。しかし、彼の場合は、自由この上ないと感じています。彼は一日何をしているのでしょうか？「歌の会」にはいっているのです。
The Retiree says there is a downside to retiring. But in his case, he feel as free as a bird. What does he do all day? He belongs to the Song Club.
