週記350　New comer in my dept.

I was bit wonder which title were better this weekly diary.

After a few minute thinking, I picked up this title.

The theme of this topic is related to the man who is invective man in my dept.
(I mention at vol.348)

Of course, the invective man (tentative name : S-san) is not changed his act, to put it more, his act and aggressive words become worse than before.

Fortunately, in recent week, new his superior (tentative name: H-san) came in my department.

H-san is a skillful and experienced engineer, and at the same time he is a good manager.

He spent 2 weeks in my department, and observed individual member’s characteristics,

Last Friday he said to me, “I roughly understand department member’s character and management problems. After Obon, I will start management.”

I expect (or hope?) that H-san make good our department!

Until this time, I didn’t have any idea which the skillful manager start management after observed.

And I learned that member’s characters are very important factor of management.

This is a interesting and informative insight for me.

【最近のStudy】
・Visualization
　最近のData Scientistのためのスキルについて勉強していてVisualizationのスキルを知りました（学びました、と書けるほど理解が進んだわけではなく、あくまでそこにスキルとしての深みがあるということに気がついた、という意味で）。
　この気付きを簡単に書き下しておくと、Visualizationには明確な目的、それを無駄なく、かつ的確に表現することが求められます。また、Data Scientist（に限らず、本来的にはどの職業でも必要なスキルですが）そのためのツールはexcelのような簡易かつ単純なグラフ化ツールだけではなく、BI(Business Interigence）のようなデータの解析が出来るようなグラフ化ツールも駆使し、目的にかなうVisualizationを行う必要があります。
　これは言い換えればVisualizationというのは多彩なデータを見える化し、リアルタイムで状況を分析するために明確な意図をもって設計が必要なものであり、それには体系だった（学問的な）知識とスキルが必要です。したがって、これを軽視してVisualizationを行った場合には当然それ相応の効果しか見込まないことでしょう。
　さてさて、これからVisualizationについて勉強して行くことになりますが、まあがんばっていきまっしょい。
