A strong earthquake with a magnitude of 6.9 jolted the west coast of central Japan today, killing one person, injuring more than 150 and damaging hundreds of homes.
It was just before ten o'clock this morning. It came so sudden. The seismic center( focus) was very close to my hometown. Actually it was in my neighborhood prefecture, Ishikawa.
I thought the quake was going to destroy my house, too. I had too many scary experiences these days. Σ( ̄ロ ̄lll) ガビーン

Are you all right? I hope you and your family are safe. I experienced an earthquake when I was small. But I remember I hid under the Kotatsu with my brother, and my mother holded the front door. I heard the safest place in the house is the bathroom(toilet). Is that true??
Anyway we have to prepare for it.
I couldn't get back to you sooner as I've been very busy at
downsizing my business.
I had planned to close my workplace in March and somehow I managed to
settle everything in order, then I had breakdown and had a bad cold.
However, I'm recovering little by little now.
Thanks a lot for your concern about the earthquake.
Fortunately we didn't have any damages from it.
