メル・コリンズのサキソフォンは50秒頃から登場して咆哮します。
7分30秒ぐらいからはイアン・ウォーレスのドラムソロで、私にはあまり面白くありません。
13分頃からの1分ほどは全員での演奏です。
14分10秒以降はロバート・フリップのMCで、次は "21st Century Schizoid Man" を演ります、とか言っているのかなぁ。

この曲 "Groon" は1970年3月13日に発売された二枚目のシングル盤 "Cat Food”のB面として発表されましたが、スタジオ録音のオリジナルアルバム（1970年5月15日に発売されたセカンドアルバム In the Wake of Poseidon （邦題は『ポセイドンのめざめ』））には収録されませんでした。

後日、編集盤 A Young Person's Guide To King Crimson （邦盤『新世代への啓示』）1975 と The Essential King Crimson Frame By Frame （邦盤『紅伝説 1969-1984』）1991 に収録されました。
