On my way home I dropped in at the florist and
told them that I wanted to buy five yellow roses.
I love white roses, but they did not have them.
When I opened the bouquet, I only found four roses?!
We avoid four, since the Japanese word for "four" sounds "shi,"
which signifies "death."

I don't think they meant "death," though.

I've checked "Four Roses" or the whiskey or bourbon brand.
This is what I've hit:

"Four Roses is a bourbon whiskey brand owned by the Kirin Brewery Company of Japan and was established in 1888. The trademark was probably named for company founder Rufus Mathewson Rose, his brother Origen, and their two sons
