満月の話（片平さん）
ネットで「スノームーン」という言葉を初めて知りました。
2月の満月のことを、そのように呼ぶのだそうです。
昨日のチョコザップの帰り道、ふと見上げた月があまりに綺麗で、感動しました。
そのとき、ふと「この月を片平さんにも見せてあげたい」という思いが浮かんだのです。
片平さんは、5年前に解散した消費者協会時代の理事仲間で、現在は81歳になられます。
２年前に我が職場を訪ねてくれました。

「カタヒラさん来訪」

解散してからも、時々LINEでやり取りを続けている大切な存在です。
昔インコを飼っていらした片平さんは大の鳥好きで、いつも我が家のオカメインコ、キーちゃんのことを「元気？」と気にかけてくださいます。
なにしろ、キーちゃんが入荷したというニュース（電話）を聞いたとき、たまたま一緒の部屋にいて、手を取り合って大喜びしたんです。

「オカメインコがやってきた！」

昨日の朝、そんな片平さんにあの美しい月の写真を送ってみました。
すると、嬉しいお返事が届いたのです。
片平さんは、私が送った月の話を近所の中学生や娘さんにも伝えてくださったそうです。さらに夜には、ご自身でも空を見上げたけれど、雲で隠れて見えないとも。
その後、箕面に住む娘さんからの月の写真を撮って送ってくださいました。
でも、そのあと、カタヒラさん自身の写真が。
「雲があったけれど、ちょうどタイミングよく雲の隙間から素敵な満月が見えた」
添えられた言葉に心が温かくなりました。

私ももう一度月が見たくなり、ベランダへ出てみました。
すると、私にも「ラッキーのタイミング」が訪れ、ちょうど雲の隙間から顔を出した満月を見ることができたのです。
消費者協会が解散してから軽く5年が経ちます。
それでも、こうして季節の風景やキーちゃんの話題など、たわいもない会話で繋がっていられる幸せを改めて感じました。
同じ月を見上げて「綺麗ですね」と言い合える関係に、なんだかとてもほっこりとした気持ちです。
片平さんには、これからもずっとお元気でいてほしいなと心から願っています。

I recently learned the term "Snow Moon" online. It’s the name given to the full moon in February.
Yesterday, on my way home from chocoZAP, I happened to look up and was deeply moved by how incredibly beautiful the full moon was. At that moment, I felt a sudden urge to share this sight with Mrs. Katahira.
Mrs. Katahira is a former colleague from the Consumer Affairs Association, which disbanded five years ago.

Then, at night, she looked up at the sky herself and sent me a photo of the moon she captured. She wrote, "It was cloudy, but by lucky timing, I was able to see the wonderful full moon through a gap in the clouds." Her words truly warmed my heart.
Inspired by her, I went out onto my balcony to see the moon once more. To my surprise, I had my own "lucky moment." Just then, the full moon appeared through a break in the clouds, as if it were waiting for me.
It has been five years since the association disbanded and we stopped seeing each other in person. Yet, I feel so happy that we can still stay connected through small, everyday conversations and updates about Kii-chan.
Being able to look up at the same moon and share the feeling of "It’s beautiful, isn't it?" made me feel so peaceful. I sincerely hope Ms. Katahira stays healthy and well forever.
