FedEx Kinko's Launches New Retail Concept FedEx Kinko's, an operating company of FedEx Corp., introduced a new store format designed for superior customer service and convenience. The company expects to open 200 of the new centers across the United States by June 2007.
The centers are approximately one-third the size of a traditional center, and they feature enhanced pack-and-ship stations and twice the number of office products. In addition to the new features, they also will offer the same services as a traditional FedEx Kinko's, including full-service and self-service copy and computer rental services.
With an average footprint of 1,800 square feet, the smaller layout allows FedEx Kinko's to open in more locations than the traditional 6,000 square-foot centers. The efficient model also makes it easier and more convenient for customers to quickly handle their office, printing and shipping needs in one stop.
