ちょこっと英語でしゃべりたいコミュのolive tree

Hi! I haven't been here for a while.... for a long while.
It's still January and I hope it's not too late to start something as it's New Year!
I decided to start studying English again.
You can't tell when... but, it would come one day when you need speaking English!

I have an olive tree.
It's potted and still very small.
I used to have one, but it died.

One day my mother-in-law called me up to advise that I should have an another olive tree.
She said she saw a TV program that tells you to have a pair of olive trees in your garden.
A pair doesn't mean "male and female" she explained. She meant my olive tree needs a company or a friend.
Or my olive tree would die of sadness... as it happened like before.

Can you believe it???

She is such a sweet person.
I thanked her and promised to have one for my little olive.
She added another type of olive would be better and mine gets happy!
I haven't got one yet, but I'll start looking for one when it gets warm.
