Hi, Pui! Thank you very much for creating this indispensable board for such a community like ours. Let me pray for you.


Our gracious Father who is our source of compassion,

I am now lifting up Pui and her needs to You. As you know, she has been feeling that her compassion for people around her is somehow getting weaker. That may be because she studied very hard in a foreign country so as to finish writing her thesis, or because of some other reasons You know.

I ask you to pour out Your strength in Pui's life through Your Spirit who lives in her and walks with her every day so that she may find more compassion for others not through her own strength but through You, our Source who fills all of our needs.

I also pray that, as Pui is holding a special dinner with her friends on the 23rd, you will be present in the middle of every one of them who are to attend it and share your divine joy and peace so that she has courage to share with them why they are celebrating Christmas.

May You help her communicate the significance of knowing Jesus Christ, our dear Saviour and Lord, in their lives. And, of course, help them enjoy this wonderful season of the year in Beppu, Kyushu, where many of our believing forefathers are said to have martyred for their love for You long time ago.

This Christmas will be the final one for most of them to celebrate together as classmates and friends as Pui and others are graduating next March. Bless their friendships so they may continue to build up good relationships that will even last for the rest of their lives, as I believe that friends from our college days are so precious at every critical moment of our lives.
