Our gracious Father,

I praise your name for your goodness and faithfulness in our lives.

Today, this new community of your sons and daughters was born. We are still few, and I don't know what kinds of plans you have for it. I just pray to you, that you will have mercy and favor upon us as we have fellowship with one another here so that we will love and encourage one another.

Many members will come because they are interested in sharing in English. May you help them learn and practice English more here so that they will be able to share your love and grace with others outside this place.

Give your wisdom and guidance upon me as the number of members increases so that this place will be maintained as a peaceful place with different types of people from different backgrounds. May you raise up some trustworthy leaders for this place.

May I pray for your grandmother here, as well?


Dear gracious heavenly Father,

I praise you because you know everything.
I praise you because you have plans for everybody.
I praise you because you welcome everyone who comes close to you.

Tonight, I would like to lift up Christine's grandmother to you. Christine is praying for her salvation. She is praying that her grandmother will know Jesus and be saved. I hear that she is reading the Scriptures for her over the phone, even by making international calls! Father, I ask you to work in the verses she reads for her. May your Spirit help Christine's gramma to understand as she reads them, even in her spirit if not in her mind.

Father, I ask you, in the name of our Lord Jesus, to visit Christine's gramma and give peace to her which is only from you, her Creator. You are the One who breathed life into her when she was created. And I pray that this will be the high time You breath eternal life into her! Give your faith to Christine's gramma so that her spiritual eyes may be open and see your face, face to face! Hold her in your arms so that she can take a peaceful rest there.

Father, I also ask you to strengthen Christine, being far away from her gramma. Bless her family, her husband and children, one of whom is turning two years old this coming Monday. Give your peace to her as she is worried about her or feels incapability of doing anything helpful to her gramma's situation. Help her to commit her and herself to your almighty and ominiscient hand. May your will alone be done without any hindrances!

Father, I also pray for others who have family members, relatives and friends who have not known you yet. May you roll out your divine and providential plans to each of them in his or her life, including my beloved ones.

In the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Thank you very much for joining this community. We are now a community of more than ten people. While my priority is never on the number of members, I am simply grateful to the Lord that we are forming a "community" not only in the sense of what mixi defines but also of what Scripture does. As the person in charge of the administration of this community, I always pray for each of you every time I click and see your names and photos. Let me pray:


Gracious heavenly Father,

I always thank you for your goodness and faithfulness in our lives. We are forming this community "E-Koinonia" here in the Internet.

Lord, we are more than ten now because you have gathered each of us from different places and backgrounds. I ask you to help us get closer by knowing more about one another so that we can treasure and love one another more.

I ask you to protect each of us from avoidable troubles and accidents on line and off line so that we can continue serving you and people around us in the most sincere way. If it is your will that we go through such unpleasant things, help us learn your purposes in the midst of them.

Lord, as we are in this large on-line community called mixi, we enjoy having new friends, gathering information on what we are interested in, or just having fun and relaxing ourselves. Whatever our purpose here is, be with us and guide us into your direction so that your name may be glorified.

Dear Lord
Recently, I noticed that there is shortage of love everywhere. People do not smile and very hostile to each other. I am also easily to get angry about a small thing. God, help us being patient and understanding, and most of all loving each other.

I would like to pray with Marmite. Lord, also me, I do not have a lot of love toward those around me. Pour out your love through your Spirit again. Share your passion with me.

Especially now, Lord, I have lost one of my life-long dreams and am struggling with which way I should take next. Be with me and help me descern where your will and favor is for the next phase of my life.

Lord, my lack of love is due to my tiredness of life and things these days. Give me a good rest and let me rise with you again.

If there are some brothers and sisters in this community who are struggling with the same kind of thing, help them as well so that they can have hope in life and your strength to rise up, too.
