Some issues of translation

My comments on DG's reply:

I might have offended you. I am hated for speaking up.
Have no idea what you mean by lost in translation,
for I have the faintest idea what your poem is meant
to be or its meaning at least.

I believe translators must be stoic.
In other words, love is not enough
to come up with proper work.

reasons they hate me because of my speaking up
regarding translation. Your case is not that bad
when compared with translators who have
no knowledge of Japanese or no knowledge of
what they translate.
Those translators with no or little knowledge try
their hands on Japanese haiku or stories from
what is available in English.
Thus, translation of translation has been going on.
I used to expect conscientiousness but no more.
They---those who know little Japanese---get mad at
me when I tell them what's the matter with their
products by referring to their original texts they
had worked on. They can't see what has been
wrong with them, what has been the matter
with them.
Their products were printed and published.
These translators have been on the whole happy
with the praise from those who know nothing or
little about this translation.
