This might be kinda... I don't know, off topic?
But I believe God made me laugh during one of my
chaotic hair pulling times so here it is.
Yesterday as I was mixing "Natto" for my 2 year old
son, I was praying with my 5 months old on my lap.
I was praying out loud to God,
"Not by my will, but Yours God."
Not about the natto, about something else by the way.
So anyways, as I was mixing the natto, my younger son
grabbed the bowl of natto.
I immediately said "Oh~ Not,not..o Natto"
&
laughed... by myself of course.
I guess you gotta be there.
But, that "joke" stopped me from getting angry and
frustrated.
Thank you God~!
I don't think I have to admit myself into a mental
hospital anymore!
Seriously, I thought I was going crazy raising our
two babies...I was afraid I was going to hurt them.
But He is taking my load and making things easier for
me. (^^) Sooo glad He's who He is!

Sorry for my slow response. We were in Manila, the capital, for some days for our visa processing.

Your story was amusing really. I praise the Lord with you that He protected you from getting mad or frustrated as you say even through your unintentional little word play! Next time, try nachos!

It must be hard to raise two young children. We are just overwhelmed to take care of our only daughter. You are in my prayers every time I remember you!

Furhter blessings upon your family!
Dear community buddies

How have you all been? I have been experiencing a lot of changes in my life. The biggest is that I started my Ph.D studies in Manila, separated from my family who are continually staying in Baguio, both in the Philippines.

My studying in Manila is part of the requirements in my being in the Faculty Development Program of our school. As our school offers several master's programs, we teachers are required to hold a doctoral degree.

As I am a language teacher in charge of Classical Greek, I picked up a doctoral program in applied linguistics. God is great because he has opened this new way, at least, though I am not content with the quality of the university library, etc.

God is also great because he has provided me with a good apartment which is on the 20th floor, righ across a street from the university and whose rent is still rather lower in this neighborhood. From its windows, you can see the campus of the university and even Manila Bay. As they face to the west, you can even enjoy the beautiful sunset to the bay.

God is good. Blessed be the name of the Lord!

If you are interested, visit the following link so that you can enjoy some photos of the campus buildings of the university and its neighborhood from the ground and my apartment.
