「とり福」へのサプライズ乱入！
昨日の英会話の帰り道、夫のいきつけの居酒屋「とり福」の前を通りかかりました。

「イングリッシュティー」

今日は夫が会社へ出勤していた日。
（今でも週２回のみ出勤を死守しています）
この時間なら、彼は間違いなくあのお店にいるはず……。
少し迷いましたが、そっと中を覗いてみると、案の定カウンターに夫の姿が。
そして、右にはDさん（奥様の方）、左にはお店のアルバイトのＳ谷さん。
なんと夫は、お客様が他にいない店内で「両手に花」状態で楽しそうにしています。
ニヤニヤ（笑）
「このまま帰るか、それとも……」と一瞬迷いましたが、せっかくなので「お邪魔かしら？」と言いながら、私も仲間に入れてもらうことにしました。
私の姿を見るなり、3人とも大喜びで迎えてくれました。
夫も嬉しそう（笑）
私は夫とDさんの間の特等席へ。
いつもの「梅酒の炭酸割り」で乾杯です。
お通しは好きなものばかり。

夫が注文済のレバー。

今年は猪が当たり年だそうで、なんと3匹も捕獲！
店の冷凍庫がパンパンで、来年分の「しし鍋」の肉までたっぷりあるという景気のいいお話を聞けました。
会話の中で「実は今日、結婚記念日なの」と伝えると、みんなから温かいお祝いの言葉をたくさんいただきました。
最初は来店を遠慮しようかと思ったけれど、思い切って暖簾をくぐって大正解。
楽しく幸せな31回目の結婚記念日の夜となりました。
On my way home from English class yesterday, I passed by my favorite Izakaya, "Tofuku."
Since my husband had worked at the office that day, I was absolutely sure he would be there at that time.
I hesitated for a moment, wondering if I should pop in.
I took a peek inside from the street and saw him sitting at the counter. To his right was D-san, and to his left was Esu-tani-san. Since there were no other customers, he was literally "sitting between two flowers" (as we say in Japan)!
After debating whether to leave him be or "crash" the party, I decided to go in.
"I hope I’m not interrupting," I said as I entered.
To my delight, all three of them welcomed me warmly! I took a seat right between my husband and D-san and ordered my usual—Umeshu (plum wine) with soda.
[The Hunter’s Story]
The master of the Izakaya shared an exciting story about hunting wild boar.
Apparently, this year is a "lucky year." He has already caught three boars! He was screaming with joy because his freezer is so full that he has enough meat for shishinabe (wild boar hot pot) to last until next year.
[A Toast to 31 Years]
The four of us had a wonderful conversation. When I happened to mention, "Actually, today is our wedding anniversary," they showered us with well-wishes.
It turned out to be a fantastic and lively celebration for our 31st wedding anniversary!
