We have just announced a new combo amp for our product line. It is called the Corus and it is designed with the guitarist in mind. There is an announcement on the opening page of our web site and there is a link to a press release with a bit more description. But, let me tell you more about it here.
新コンボ・アンプのご紹介です。 ギタープレイヤー向けに製作した “CORUS”（コーラス）というモデルです。 弊社ウェブのトップページにて紹介しています。
The Corus uses the same preamp, power amp and cabinet as the Coda R. The woofer has been replaced with a more efficient one than is used in the Coda R. The crossover network is changed to accommodate the new woofer. The other speakers in the cabinet remain the same. The result is a more efficient, more forward-sounding cabinet. The trade-off is slightly less bass response.
“コーラス”はCODA Rと同じプリアンプ、パワーアンプ、キャネットを使用しています。ウーハーはCODA Rより高能率なタイプに変更しました。 回路は変更に伴い小変更しています。 キャビネット内の他のスピーカーに変更はありません。結果、能率の向上により、音がより前に出るアンプになりました。 低音域のレスポンスは、僅かに低下しています。
The Corus sounds louder than the Coda R at a given level setting and it sounds more forward. Both are characteristics that guitar players and other, non bass, instrumentalists may prefer.
コーラスは、コーダRより大音量が得られ、音抜けが良くなりました。 ベースを除く、ギターやその他の楽器向きと言えるでしょう。
Specifications for the Corus are the same as the Coda R except for frequency response and efficiency:

60-16kHz (+/- 3 dB) コーラス

In tests with several players, we found that guitar players (and some other instrumentalists such as violin players) preferred the sound of the Corus over the Coda R, and they liked the Corus in comparison to other amp and speaker
combinations. So, if your customer base includes guitar players and other instrumentalists, the Corus should be an attractive product for you to carry. We don't think the Corus will take sales away from the Coda R but it should offer new sales opportunities to other customers. There really isn't a combo amp on the market for guitarists that sounds this good and is as powerful and compact as the Corus.
実験では、ギタープレイヤー（他、バイオリニストなど）はCODA Rより、CORUSの音を好みました。他ブランドのアンプやスピーカーと比べても気に入って頂けました。 顧客の傾向がギターや他の楽器の場合、コーラスは魅力のある商材になると思います。 CODA Rの販売が鈍くなる不安はありません。新しい商品として受け入れて頂ける事と思います。 市場でここまで小型で、パワーがあり、良い音の出るアンプはありません。
The Corus has a slightly different look from our other combo amps. The preamp faceplate and front grill are grey instead of black. See the picture below.
他のコンボアンプとは違う見た目をしています。フロントグリルは黒に変ってグレーです。（添付写真参照の事）
