When Michelle and I purchased the Beacon Hill vineyard in 1997, we had just been married the summer before, and were charting a new life together. Given her love for sparkling wine - and our new vineyard's superb potential for these wines - it is no surprise that our very first bottlings were in fact effervescent.

So it is with pride and a little nostalgia that we offer you the very first wine that we produced from Beacon Hill, back in October 1997: Beacon Hill Blanc de Blancs Sparkling Wine. After a long rest on its yeast, we disgorged this wine in March of this year. We release it now, as a milestone marking several important developments in our lives and work. We made only 190 cases.
