In English we must usually say which, or whose wage, salary or hourly rate.
So you cannot say 'The wage is low' in most situations, but you can say 'My wage is low'.
The most useful answer is;
My wage is low. / My wages are low.
My salary is low. / I have a low salary.
My hourly rate (of payment) is low.
We can of course change 'my' to 'his' or 'her' etc.
Have you heard the expression 'I am a salaried employee'...
What does it mean?
Do you know the expression 'I am on an hourly rate'...
Or 'I get paid by the hour'...
