JB MotorsportコミュのFerdinand Kool signs for Formula3

With Ferdinand Kool the first driver of JB Motorsport is fixed. The Dutch will steer one of the both new Lola-cars of the Belgian in the Recaro Formula3-Cup 2006.

The contract between Ferdinand Kool and the Belgian racing team was signed yesterday. Team owner Yves Olivier was keen: "With Ferdinand we have one of our candidate of our request in the team. Already in the concluded season, in which the racing tracks were new for the youngster an he had to learn very much, he surprised us with terrific results." Yves Olivier reminded of the home victory in the wet race of Assen and the "hunt" in the oval of Eurospeedway which the 24-years old could decide for him. With the new chassis Ferdinand already could make some experiences in Zandvoort at the Formula3 Masters.

Ferdinand Kool about the agreement with JB Motorsport: "After the good results chiefly at the end of the season for me it was fact that I wanted to drive for JB once again. It is very important for me to harmonise with the engineer, and with Michiel Gommers I have this engineer, with whom I can work together very good." About his new car the JB pilot says: "I am sure that it will be a good package. Lola works very hard to conquer the European market. So we will get absolutely competitive material to be able to win. Already next week we will take up the test work."

JB Motorsport present is in negotiation with drivers for the second cockpit. Yves Olivier: "There are a few fast young men, with which we stay in contact. I think, that we will sign the second contract during the next weeks." To collect experiences with the new Lola-car and to develop the parts for 2006 the Belgian will attend a test programme next week. From March on Rollout and further tests will prepare the season because even now Olivier is sure: "Together with our partners we mainly want to bring the championship back to Roeselare!"
