ジムスタインマンコミュのV.A / Songs From Whistle Down the Wind

作詞がジムで、作曲がアンドリュー・ロイド・ウェイバー。
歌うはイギリスを中心とした人気ミュージシャン、っていう豪華な企画盤デス。
で、曲は全てロンドンでのウェイバーのミュージカル「Whistle Down the Wind」使用曲。
つまり、ミュージカルのナンバーをポップアーチストに歌わせた、ってわけですね。

ジムは作詞だけ、と思いきや、参加アーチストの中でちゃっかり戦友（？）二人の曲ではアレンジも担当してます。
はい、ミート・ローフとボニー・タイラーだよぉ～ん(^。^)y-.。o○

ミート・ローフの曲「A Kiss is a Terrible Thing to Waste」は後で彼のベスト盤に新曲として収録。
でもってこれにはボニーがゲストとして参加！
ソロ・ヴァージョンでも収録されている「Tire Tracks and Broken Hearts」で、曲の途中にブリッジして登場、ミート・ローフとのデュエットに流れ込みます。
遂にジム・スタインマン・ファミリーの巨頭二人のデュエットが実現したわけですね！
