bar is the place to go for drinks, in some of them thhey also serve food, there are many kinds of bars in spain, my favourites are Irish tabers (tabernas irlandesas) the word taberna is quite amusing to smome japanese peoople as it is a place that also servers food and sounds quite similar to japanese taberuna, jeje
¿me da una cerrveza por favor? is like, biiru, onegai shiumasu
buenas tardes, que le sirvo konbanha, nani o nomimasuka? quiero una cerveza biiru onegai shimasu clara u obscura regular or dark obscura por favor dark onegai shimasu
actually we do not call beer like that in spain
we go for "rubia" normal beer
"tostada" midium dark biiru
and "negra" dark biiru
actually "clara" in Spain means a mixture of normal beer with gas water, specially cool for summer, and another point is
clara u obstcura, usually to say "this OR that" we use O but in this case the following words starts with O (obscura) so we change it from "clara O obscura" to "clara U obscura" get it?
Actually there is anothe important stuff here to discuss.
the format.
Un corto por favor -> this means a short glass of beer.
Una caña por favor -> this means a glass of beer.
Una caña doble por favor -> this means a semi-big glass of beer
Una pinta por favor -> this means a big glass of beer, usually Irish beer
as, black beer is "cerveza negra", we can also say something like this
"una pinta de negra por favor"
a bit lees formal and somehow slangy is the use of "birra" instead of "cerveza", birra is Itariago for "Cerveza".
"una birra por favor" sounds a bit strange, kinda of polite and slangy at the same time, but neverthless eveyone will understood
get confident with ordering a "cerveza" there is plenty of time for "spanish slang"
