とてもマイナーなミュージカル"CHESS"の中の歌です。あまりにもマイナー過ぎてなかなかCDも見つからなかったのですが、数年前Erwinさんのお陰で渋谷で見つけました。１０代終わりから２０代の始めにした恋愛でこんな気分になった事が何度かありました。でも歳を重ねるにつれ、"Looking back I could have played it differently" なんて思うような恋愛はしたくないと思いました。自分を否定するような気がして。でも本当に誰かを好きになると何かがうまく行かなかった時、こういう気持ちになるのですね。
