Matt and i went to the press preview of Krispy Kreme Doughnuts the other day to interview the president of the company for my business section in Aera English. It was really good to get the chance to do an interview about a company just entering in japan but what was especially good was realizing how many people we knew there doing PR. When we got there we saw Jinji-san who graduated from Efap last year (she set up the interview). Next we say Megumi Kitagawa (ex-Efap) and Oji (internship Efap student). So it felt very familiar and everyone was very friendly. When we were coming out we bumped into Nobuko who is our friends fiance. It made me think how small the world of PR is and how good it is to stay friends with everyone after they leave school. Relationships often change so although Jinji-san and Megumi were fellow students, now they Megumi's company is doing PR as an ousourced PR company for Krispy Kreme! Matt and i weren't there as teachers either!Anyway, they were very kind and gave us lots of dougnuts. I had two, Matt had 4 and Sam wasn't here so he couldn't have any. We sent him a picture though but i think that just made him angry!
I know what you mean. It's really a small world.
But, kind of scary for you guys in a way.
Eveybody knows eveybody in the wolrd of PR. so that means, you always have to be a good boy.
