卒業の課題をやっているのですが辞書を見てもさっぱりわかりません、、、、お手数ですが誰か助けて下せいませ。
まずこの部分の訳がうまくできません。

厳しいことを言うようですが、きちんと履修していれば出来るはず、というレベルの課題が出されているのではないでしょうか？「訳せないのなら、卒業するに値しない」と判断されても仕方がないかも…。
過去にも宿題や課題を丸投げして叱咤激励された方が何人もいました。仮にここで誰かに全訳してもらっても、それはカンニングと同じだと思いますし、何もあなたのためにはならない…ということで、みなさんヒントだけでも出して、応援してくださっていると思います。
それから、このコミュでダメだから（教えてもらえないから）他の語学系コミュに同じ内容のトピ立てをする…というようなみっともないことは考えないほうが自分のためだと言うことも蛇足ながら付け加えておきます。
頑張ってください。

Wow, the prose in the example is poorly written. Overly complicated and inelegant. No wonder you're having a difficult time translating it.
Your teacher should have chosen something less challenging than this.
Perhaps you should try online translation and then try to correct the translated output. At least post the results of your translation efforts before you come here. ;)
