Patient:
Hi, I’m looking for something to treat itching on the top of my head. It’s been bothering me for a few weeks now.

Pharmacist:
I see. Is the itching localized only on the top of your head, or does it affect other areas as well?

Patient:
Mostly the top of the head. I’ve also noticed some flaking in that area.

Pharmacist:
It might be a form of scalp dermatitis or dandruff. I recommend trying this medicated shampoo. Apply it directly to the top of your head, leave it for a few minutes, and then rinse thoroughly.
