大伴家持、Ōtomo no Yakamochi

「かささぎの
　　　　　渡せる橋におく霜の
　白きを見れば夜ぞふけにける」

"How the night deepens.
A ribbon of the whitest frost is stretched across

718年頃から785年、従三位中納言に至る、万葉集編纂に関与したか、三十六歌仙の一人

Ōtomo no Yakamochi
Ōtomo no Yakamochi (c. 718–785) rose to the rank of Junior Third Rank (Jusanmi) and Middle Counselor (Chūnagon). He may have been involved in the compilation of the Man'yōshū and is regarded as one of the Thirty-six Immortal Poets (Sanjūrokkasen).
