Espen Rasmussen (b. 1976) is based in Oslo, Norway. He is working as a Picture Editor in the weekend magazine of the biggest daily Norwegian newspaper, VG and is represented internationally by Panos Pictures in London.
Espen is working with his own projects, in the tradition of documentary and photojournalism.

The last seven years, Espen has travelled around the world, covering events such as the maoist conflict in Nepal, the tsunami in Asia, the earthquake in Pakistan, the conflict in Somalia and other social issues.

Espen's pictures has appeared in magazines such as Time magazine, The Economist and Der Spiegel, and in newspapers such as the New York Times and Financial Times. He has won prizes in the World Press Photo and Picture of the Year International.
