Hi everybody,

I just like to ask a little question :

How many percent of the japanese nationals can read a basic english text (book) ?

Any approximation will be helpful.

Thanks a lot.

if it is a basic english book, i think it will be over 60%. i meant 'can read' not other skills , such as 'speak, listen and write', u know, it is very famous as japanese high level instruction. especially since the 2nd world war.
