Many people ask me how to customize shoes. If people want to learn i will be happy to teach. However there is a few things i want to say before i give the lessons.
1. Impossible for me to teach in Japanese unless someone is willing to translate it for me. So I will teach in english.
2. Every experienced customizer have developed their own techniques and prefered paint, material and equipment used through time, success, failiure and research. So my way might not be the way other customizers might use or recommend. This is 100% my way. So if u like it use it if u don't like it don't use it.
3. I will only be teaching the basics for beginners who want to try customizing shoes. Therefore advanced techniques is based on talent and experience. Also it is my trade secret. I will not be teaching those things. if u wanna learn the advanced shoes just order a pair of my shoes and i will be more than happy so show u picture by picture how i painted ur shoes.
4. Patience means success. Painting a shoe takes time especially the first few times. So if u want ur shoes to look good then you must have patience.
5. Be willing to use as much material as i recommend. Don't take shortcut. Remember the shoes cost money so if u don't want to waste money then do everything slowly and step by step.
6. To be a good customizer u need talent and experience. So don't do what u not confident in doing. Also remember 1st pair u do will never be the perfect pair.
7. If u not sure about something i teach. just ask me before u do. i am very easy going person so don't be scared to ask me to explain something for you.
8. I believe in a saying "if I do something for you then you should also do something for me in return"
Remember Edesign Studio is not just a hobby, its my JOB. Without orders, support and interest this business simply cannot survive.
9. I am teaching in my free time. So please don't expect i will teach every step everyday.
