I give many lectures, but I never write the precise text beforehand. I prefer to prepare a general outline for what I will say. I memorize the outline, and during the lecture, I don't read anything. This is the most natural way and it also allows for adaptation to questions from the audience, but I don't recommend doing this if you are not experienced in giving lectures.
