I'm now in Kyoto, and am going back home tomorrow.
Yesterday, in the inn I am staying at, I talked to a foreign person who said he taught English in Japan. It's been a little long since I talked with foreign people in English. The last time I did so is two years ago in New Zealand. I was worried whether I was able to talk with him or not. I managed to do it and felt happy with that. I study theoretical linguistics and have made sure that languages are used for communication and exchanging thought.
