“Om: Hip Hop Soul Sessions” is a return to basics with hip-hop soul
DJ/producer J-Boogie. This Japan-only album is also available worldwide
as a digital release from Om Records on iTunes. It’s the next step in
J-Boogie’s classic mix series that includes Leftism, Live in the Bedroom
and In The Mood. The sound represents the SF Bay Area with some of
his favorite Om beats from the past, present, and future. Downtempo,
hip-hop, soul, breaks, house, Latin, electro and dub take you back to a
Summer BBQ in the park or a long roadtrip down the coast. Lovers of
the classic Deep Concentration series, Mushroom Jazz, Om Lounge
and Om Hip-Hop will enjoy this mix that proves musical boundaries
